Picked up this BD recently bc it was on sale and I wanted to add to my Edgar Wallace krimi collection. Despite having all the ingredients this one is still a lesser EW adaptation bc it lacks the playfulness that the German directors brought to their films. It’s all serious business here and underutilizes Christopher Lee and Klaus Kinski. It does feature Suzy Kendall but overall one of the more average installments.
