Overview
On the mysterious planet of Ash, Riya awakens to find her crew slaughtered. When a man named Brion arrives to rescue her, an ordeal of psychological and physical terror ensues while Riya and Brion must decide if they can trust one another to survive.

Viewing Notes
Liberally cribs from a dozen movies but placing Eiza Gonzales as the lead in a catsuit… er, spacesuit for the duration in a Dead Space mystery goes a long way. The soft lens and sound design help. Unfortunately Aaron Paul is also present but I can negate him with Iko Uwais.
I just love the spin the wheel approach to the premise and screenplay. Put twenty horror sci-fi films on the wheel and spin it ten times. Take something from each one. Outstanding.
Would love to see this in IMAX or the DolbyVision theater.
