Feels like the warmup for Anatomy of a Fall. Can see some of the seedlings of that film in this one. Very different story but the women in court and the courtroom antics are there.
I really don’t see the “rom com” in this since everything is full on serious. Nothing was funny to me. Just a very good drama about this woman wanting to be the best lawyer and mother. Virginie Efira is terrific.
