Viewing Notes

Picked this for Tiffany Shepis but sadly she’s only in the first part of the movie before the all the friends arrive at the cabin. However, this is first movie I’ve seen where Elissa Dowling is the lead (about damn time!). So I give this a bump for that reason but… this is def a low budget affair and it’s painfully clear to its detriment. The slasher killer is not very interesting other than being huge, really tall. Needed a little more work in that area to make him cool or interesting. Then the movie doesn’t really have an ending. It was then I understood why this has a 10 percent on TMDb. Apparently there’s a part 2 for this, which btw is already a remake of a short film by the same director that also features Shepis and Brinke Stevens.

Anyways, this is not terrible and it has Dowling as the lead and final girl. Probably a 4/10 but I was happy to see her get more to do for a pleasant change.
