Wanted to revisit this after watching My Young Auntie the other night. In that movie a group of old kung fu veterans come together to help her.
This movie is about old kung fu veterans getting pushed out of their business and having to use their martial arts skills to stop them. I originally saw that at a midnight screening at my first Fantastic Fest so my opinion then was def influenced by that. This is *not* a midnight movie; it runs slow at times with dramedy. But the action flourishes are really nice and I love seeing old man Lo Meng mix it up with Chen Kuan-Tai.
