This would be a better CC film if they actually crafted the story around Broadway! Instead it’s just set in NYC with a nightclub / cabaret singer. Maybe a different movie title would be better.
The mystery is fine. The thing I like here is Chan being super annoyed at his son Keye Luke for the entire film. Wonder if Oland was tiring of the role bc usually his Chan isn’t like this. I realize it’s the script but Oland really seems annoyed in this movie. None of his typical jovial behavior is present.
