Overview
Noriko Takaya’s dream is to become a space pilot like her father, who died when she was young after an attack by alien forces in deep space. After entering Okinawa Girls Space Pilot High School, she must persuade everyone, especially herself, that she can fulfill her goal and become an accomplished pilot despite being just an ordinary girl.

Viewing Notes
Couldn’t understand why this has a 2006 release year when clearly it was produced decades prior. Then I figured out it was condensed from the 1988 tv series until the final act which was done to look like 1988. Def looks and feels like Hideaki Anno’s work.
Surprised I haven’t logged this unless it’s one of the missing titles from a few years ago.
