Viewing Notes
This is a prequel (short) film to the Kamen Rider Gotchard series. I heard about it bc a mutual said it was unlike the usual KR in that it is violent and bloody. That it is. But we know there are examples of KR being just that and w/o mentioning Anno’s SHIN KAMEN RIDER.
Downside is there is no KR in this. It is about this alchemist Glion and the creation of another one of his dolls. So bummer, no Kamen Rider.
Upside: dark, moody, bloody, violent and features my favorite ninja psycho Kanon Miyahara (Ninja vs Shark) as one of Glion’s dolls. She’s so frickin’ awesome. TIL she’s in the entire KR Gotchard series so now I gotta track that down so I can watch.
mental note: gotta get KR The Second on DVD (no BD, sadly) so we can watch at Movie Night. It’s a horror movie!
