Viewing Notes

Hello, Babyface Boba Fett!

I recognized Jeremy Bulloch and it’s wild to see him in a role like this with a lot of onscreen time. Would’ve been very unlikely at the time but I wish I had seen this before I met him at one of the conventions because I totally would’ve asked him about this role. And even tho I got his signature on a classic Boba Fett image I would’ve been like, “so do you have any stills from PLAY IT COOL that you sign for me??” as a joke, ofc.

Anyways, I love these kinds of movies where a group of young people bounce from place to place all in one night and get to hear / see some great singers / musicians. I’m sure this isn’t the first “all in one night” movie but certainly one the early examples. I dig it lots.

It’s amusing that Michael Winner directed this then went on to direct a lot of crazy genre films throughout the seventies and eighties. Love him even more.
