Viewing Notes

When I learned this was not a zombie movie (I thought the video game was a zombie game, perhaps bc “Dawn” in the title) I was more interested in seeing this. It’s a mashup of Cabin in the Woods and Escape Room in a Groundhog Day framing device.

I was way too tired to appreciate this but I love the kills and set design. I had no idea how or what is causing the time loop. I will revisit when it hits streaming.

This was the rare 5:15pm showtime where I left early enough to be at the promenade by that time. BUT THERE WAS A TRAFFIC LIGHT BROKEN AT THE MURPHYS DQ INTERSECTION SO I WAS LATE AND MISSED THE FIRST FEW MINUTES AFTER THE FULL TRAILER PACKAGE. Reminded me of when I missed the beginning of Evil Dead Rises.

I do not understand why the police don’t jump in to manage the traffic flow in those situations. Doing the 4way stop is the worst case scenario for 287. Just brutal.
