Lots to enjoy here but also some annoying trappings of the period including some inappropriate things. Like when Spencer (Bing Crosby) says he’ll wait for the much younger teenage sister to grow up when she asks him if he’ll ever marry again. She’s like 14yo. What.
The duet between Sinatra and Crosby is the centerpiece. Wish the story wasn’t so damn obvious and stupid. Also needed more Louis Armstrong and his band. Easily the best aspect of the movie.
