Viewing Notes
This animated short was in that Ghibli playlist (shorts inspired by Ghibli) but it really has no connection other than “nature” themed. The environments are rendered really well and look great. The creature design, specifically the fox, not good at all. Why have a blocky or triangle shaped fox and place it in a more photo-real but animated environment. Looks off and is distracting. The story is fine on its own but I really dislike looking at that triangular fox amid these gorgeous settings.
