Wanted to watch another Kara Wai flick to rinse my eyes and ears from the last movie, DAUGHTER, in which she stars but given an average screenplay and was dubbed in English.

Here Wai portrays a sexpot and the stepmother to Cynthia Khan’s character. They don’t like each other, which is pretty fun. Anthony Wong w/his long hair is in support and comic relief. Both get a chance to kick ass.

I really wish one of those labels would move this one up the pile for a restoration and release. Khan is so freakin’ good and such a badass. I’m infatuated with her. She does a kick in one scene that is so cool and it happens so fast. It’s hard to say but this might be my favorite of her performances.

I don’t understand how this has such a low rating on TMDb.
