Viewing Notes

My dad’s birthday so I wanted to revisit a movie I saw with him. I haven’t seen this since that viewing (we saw it in the theater). Forgot a lot of it including Daniel Craig being in the movie but he wasn’t even close to being Bond at the time so he wasn’t on my radar.

The thing I remember the most is after the movie was over, the first thing my dad said was “ your mother wouldn’t like that one!” (Because of the violence)

This is such a dad movie too. Besides it being set where my dad grew up, the period and father / son relationship probably affected him. I’m sure he recalled when he learned how to drive a stick then teaching me how to drive a stick. I remember when just my dad and I went on a trip to Wisconsin Dells. Not sure why we did that but this movie reminded me of that trip.

This would be a lowkey fun location tour in the Midwest.
