Viewing Notes

Kind of amazing how Bogart created an entire career portraying a specific type of criminal / anti-hero that would often be the main character of the story. His “Duke” in this story is like a dozen+ other roles he’s done. Some nice photography and camera work from prison break to the final confrontation. A movie that looks like a film noir and has some of the elements but not one I’d label as such. I’m probably wrong.
