Viewing Notes

Friday June 13
The Present

Probably won’t happen again in my lifetime so I had to spin up the OG, which takes place on this exact day, June 13.

Also, I haven’t seen this since a Terror in the Aisles event at the Patio Theater in Chicago back in 2017. So I was due for a revisit.

Amusing how slow this movie is compared with so many movies that are inspired and influenced by it. But I give it points for subverting the killer angle and that crazy ass finale. Plus babyface Kevin Bacon is always nice to see.

Happy Friday the 13th to those that celebrate!
