Put this on while I was organizing. Wanted to revisit after viewing Craven’s other tv movie. I like this a lot for the period of time it captures. The son having that handheld electronic game recalled all the ones I used to have that kept me occupied on long family vacations.
Noted that Joanna Cassidy is a giantess. At least compared to Susan Lucci, who is more than a foot shorter than her. The casting of Kevin McCarthy is a touch given the premise. Also feels like a Scientology allegory.
