After seeing Bunta Sugawara in Dynamite DonDon during the Summer Mind Melter, I wanted to watch more of his films. He’s so good, esp. as these anti-hero type of characters in yakuza movies. This is fun buddy flick where he and his little brother are trying to rise in the crime world but are two knuckleheads.
Kinda starts as a comedy but gets more serious as it goes along. Neat to see Yuriko Mishima here along with Tomomi Sato. Amazing that they made eight (8!) of these Viper Brothers films and none, AFAIK, have ever been release in any format in NA. Some cool label should release the entire series in a boxset.
There was no description in TMDb so I added the one that was on LB.
