This is a bonkers ass movie! Borderline horror movie, too. Reminded me another film, a French film, that I can’t recall the title.
Thought this was the first CRIMSON RIVERS movie starring Jean Reno. But when it started it was clearly the second film, of which I didn’t realize existed. But I watched this anyways since it didn’t seem necessary to view the previous film, tho it would’ve been nice. It’s on Kanopy so I may check it out soon bc I dug this film a lot.
Picked this up at the flea market in RC for a dollar bc it was on the “damaged” shelf. Disc has some scratches but they didn’t look bad to me so I wanted to fire it up to see if it played okay. No issues on the playback but it would be nice to have the movie on BD bc it is a lot of fun. I think I may already own the exact same DVD (in a Blockbuster case) but it wasn’t in my DVDpedia. Figured for a buck it was fine and I can give it to my library if I discover another one in my DVDs.
Just one of those movies that was always around but I never watched. Seem to recall having it on one of my DVD shelves back in Des Plaines.
Great to see the late great Sir Christopher Lee in a nice supporting role.
