Birthday movie! (a favorite actor)
Man, this movie hurts my heart. Really appears to be the last movie Tak will likely make where he’s the lead character. I’m sure he’ll pop up as a cameo like in Dragon Chef.
ofc I love watching him in this. all the meta commentary just made me really sad. like here’s what filmmaking has become and that’s not where he’s at in his career.
while watching I decided to send Tak a message on twitter to persuade him to consider making another movie his way just so this one isn’t his last movie.
