Cop-turned-security guard Ma Xianyong finds himself in a criminal twilight zone when two unrelated events turn his world upside down. The mysterious disappearance of his boss has implications for his financial security. Even more perilous is the abduction of his paralyzed sister who, unknown to Ma, makes a morbid deal with her captors.

viewed on Prime to see if I should go see the sequel currently in theaters. based on this movie I probably would not as nothing here really grabbed me, characters or the premise. The big finale sequence is pretty good but getting there wasn’t so much. Also, listed as a comedy (it’s not) and like a Tarantino story (nope).
I did read that the sequel is a different premise w/the same characters and better movie. so I dunno. we’ll see when I need to make a decision.
