Hui Ying-hung, legendary director Chang Cheh’s discovery, and the protege of equally legendary director Liu Chia-liang co-stars with Liu’s nephew, Liu Chia-yung in this fast-paced, action packed comedy of kung-fu characters. Liu Chia-yung is saved from drug smugglers by Hui Ying-hung, whose godfather is a drunken master and whose leprous godmother is mistress of the fairly off-putting Leprosy Boxing style.

Not to be confused with “Shaolin Tigress” from the same year.
Another Shaw Production… that I wanted to like more. Falls into that “I must Avenge my [insert relative or master]” category. Teeters close to being screwball comedy but has dudes getting murdered in grisly, bloody fashion.
Few things I enjoy more in a Shaw Brothers movie than babyface Kara Wai whipping ass but she’s not the main star. She does have some fun scenes just I wish she was given a little more to do.
I like the leper angle overriding the usual the Drunken Master plot. The final scene is really wacky.
