saw that VS announced this title, which I had never heard of and am still amazed that titles like this still exist out there to be mined for good home media releases. there’s a few different versions of this on streaming sites but this was was labeled “Schizo, uncut” so I went with it despite the EXTREMELY POOR PQ via youtube. Like really bad quality that I viewed the first 30 minutes on my phone. Switched to my macbook and wowza not good.
BUT… watchable to at least understand the story and plotlines of which the main one features Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore) having nightmares of this castle and going to visit it and becoming obsessed / possessed. The finale is batshit and worthy of VS. The set design and location are great.
Might be a fun one for a movie night just for the ending.
I looked up Lisa Aliff, who gets top billing, and this was her last feature film. Also learned she was arrested in 1995 in a child custody suit. She had her kid in 1990 so I’m speculating she retired from acting to raise her kid. I mention this bc she’s great in the movie and was hoping to find more of her work. alas…
