Viewing Notes
The low ratings for this one are baffling. Sure, this black comedy isn’t gonna be for everyone but 50 percent on IMDb ain’t it. Perhaps Sweeney fans were disappointed by her character? Seemed like most if not all the people at my screening were there to see Sweeney; this isn’t the type of broad appeal movie that everyone goes to.
She’s fine. I like the combo of elements at play here that is very similar to other movies I won’t mention for spoilery reasons. That it’s set in dirt town South Dakota I appreciated. May not entirely come together but I enjoyed the ride and characters.
Paul Walter Hauser is having quite the year!
