Was my oldest logged Miike film, viewed before we started logging religiously. So this was another Very Good Revisit.
Love that Miike made a tokusatsu movie that is modern yet also a throwback. It’s weird and has heart.
The BD from 88 doesn’t have very good PQ, which is disappointing. I ordered in hopes it was better than the DVD. It is but not by much. Black are dark grey. Not crisp. Curious how it compares to the US BD that was released years ago.
