Has a lot in common with the famous Twilight Zone episode “Eye of the Beholder” where everyone has an “ugly face” and the patient has an attractive face (by typical conventions, obv). sort of a reverse story here where this young girl wants to have the same eerie face that everyone has.
Give this one points for the creepy look of the faces. wish it had done a little more in the back half to make the point it thinks it is making.
