This is a fun, albeit slight, drama comedy about two brothers returning to their rural home in South Korea for their father’s funeral. They were both ostracized at the previous funeral for their mother so it’s awkward for them and the family now. Then it takes a supernatural turn.
Very cultural so a good chunk of it was lost on me, how the ancestry works and the position of the Sons in the family. But still can follow the antics of these brothers and how they are trying to cash in on the property in different ways. All the stuff with Lee Hanee is the best because she’s fun and funny and gorgeous so it works with the two brothers trying to figure out how she fits into the picture.
The movie needed more of her. Great to see Don Lee in a comedic role, too.
