Viewing Notes

short story: I was buying a couple of movies from an ebay seller who specializes in Well Go USA releases. Cheaper than DD or Amazon by as much as 70 percent. Brand new, located in Texas so probably buying wholesale direct out of their warehouse (or a picking up a few “fallen boxes”). Anyways they had this title, which is Well Go produced movie, not just distribution. And I considered buying it bc the price was 50 percent cheaper than everywhere else. But I hadn’t seen the movie and saw it was available on Prime. So I passed despite the decent ratings for the movie (~85 percent TMDb).

Fast forward to now and I finally watch the movie on Prime.

DO NOT WATCH THIS TERRIBLE MOVIE ON PRIME

wowza this is bad. Like almost in a The Asylum intentional kind of bad but this is not intentional. They really were trying to make a good movie here. But it’s not. no, it’s not.

The premise isn’t terrible just retread. but awful line delivery, acting, photography and action direction. There’s a baddie that says “I eat seals for lunch” before taking a swing at a Navy Seal and it’s the worst telegraphed over the head haymaker you can imagine. Just bad. wooden acting and dry line reads.

Now, I give it a bump for being shot on location Montana in the Beartooth mountains where I’ve camped and hiked. Looks good even when shot poorly. Small bump for Rachel Cook who shows up for a elk hunt like she’s ready to take the stage at the local strip joint in Bozeman. So amusing.

And the ending is exactly what I predicted, which surprised me so sure another small bump up. hahaha

And I came so close to owning this!

lol I just read the overview description… it’s a regular sized briefcase full of cash that goes missing. It’s not even stuffed. It couldn’t hold $1 million dollars let alone $100 million. Wow
