Viewing Notes

Shortly after this started I was like “oh is this a Lucky Stars crossover with Aces Go Places?! This should be good!” Obviously I’m not smart enough to read the title of the movie.

Sadly this is not good. It’s like Tsang took the worst of both series and mashed them up. Too much slapstick humor, none of it is funny. Not much crime or action, until the very end when Andy Lau gets a moment to shine. Then ends on a sour note, just inexplicable attempt at comedy that falls like a lead balloon.

If this does get a release I hope it’s included with the Aces Go Places series bc I would not buy this movie on its own.
