Now I understand the hype around this one. Very poignant, amusing, and uplifting film about the current state of the movie industry in Japan. Was not expecting that.
I thought it was simply gonna be a farce about a samurai who visits the future. It is that but he’s dropped into a film set and becomes part of that whole scene.
Would be fun to watch this and A Boy and His Samurai in a double feature. Different movie but similar premise of traveling thru time to modern day and how to deal with that.
