Viewing Notes

Much overdue revisit (previous notes stand and boy I went on a journey with those) esp. given my previous viewing.

4K looks amazing, best I’ve ever seen this. Realized that I was probably introduced to Joey Wong from watching this movie on VHS back in the day.

I love how it walks up to the line of naughty tentacles hentai horror but never crosses it. I love all the practical FX and nods to Evil Dead. Ofc Joey and Leslie are wonderful (really needed a fourth category to add “romance” for this one). Looking forward to owning the 4K UHD whenever Arrow releases the set.
