in the 12th slot of the 24hr horror movie mind melter… an anime that Justin kicked into this slot when he was having technical difficulties with the feature film for this slot.
It’s GEGEGE No Kotaro playing baseball!
Thought this was an episode of the GEGEGE No Kotaro anime series but it’s actually a short film based on one of the stories. I updated the TMDb description to provide an overview of what happens. It’s good. I’m not really into the anime but it’s super popular in Japan. Lots of ppl in the chat recognized it immediately.
Don’t care for animation stuff at the late hour, midnight mountain time; it’s a morning / daytime thing for me unless it’s an adult type of animation like Heavy Metal. I’d love to watch more of the GEGEGE No Kotaro films. Maybe I’ll get into the series. Also need to revisit that live action movie I bought on DVD at Wizard World and loaned to Shannon but never got it back (since re-obtained it as a mp4).
