Some fun monster horror that gives Paul Naschy vibes. it’s overstuffed and convoluted as heck but has some neat practical FX and setpieces; the palace is amazing. I’d love to edit this down to 110 minutes focusing on the monsters and action.
I really need to give the Ramsay’s Mahakaal (the NOES remake) another chance.
Watched the intro afterwards and they mention how this was influenced by Naschy’s film Horror Rises from the Tomb. lol
