The son of Yufu died tragically, and all the people in Yufu turned into straw people overnight. Song Ci was ordered to investigate and found that the case was intertwined, and was attacked by grassmen one after another in the middle. The court sent Ding Guang Li to assist Song Ci, but it made the case more complicated and confusing, but it also made Song Ci discover that the straw man case was a huge conspiracy.

aka Detective Song Ci
Is it a ghost or magician or monster that’s killing people? Officer Song is on the case. The Strawman monster is pretty cool but with most of these period detective stories not all is as it seems. Despite starting with the horror premise you know it’s gonna end like a Scooby-Doo episode.
Always like seeing Norman Chu provide a little gravitas in these Chinese mysteries. Some fun action beats mixed in with the procedural.
