Overview
Cristina, a journalist of Mexican origin, travels to her ancestral home in Veracruz to investigate a story of sorcery and healing. There, she is kidnapped by a group of locals who claim she’s the devil incarnated.

Viewing Notes
Reluctantly tagging Mexico since it’s set there and takes place almost entirely there. But I don’t believe one scene was filmed there. The lack of any shooting locations in IMDb supports that.
Anyways, not my favorite subgenre but it’s okay and features AJ Bowen, whom I miss seeing in genre film.
