TV movie that Wes Craven directed recently popped up on Prime. I found it streaming elsewhere and downloaded it but figured it’d be better to view on Prime, perhaps a better PQ. Nope, the PQ on Prime is not great - made worse by viewing on my OLED. Probably should’ve just watched my file on my macbook.
Anyways, I love this!! Firstly, it starts Michael Beck (The Warriors Michael Beck or Xanadu, if that’s your speed) as the unfrozen corporate mogul who is a complete abusive asshole. He’s perfect as that character. Excellent supporting cast around him incl. the late Paul Sorvino whom we just watched in REPO! and my fave Jill Schoelen again (saw her last weekend during Dismember in When Stranger Calls Back). Love when that happens.
What I like it’s this goes pretty hard for a tv movie. Would be awesome if a boutique label would restore and release all these tv movies by horror masters.
I only wish I had seen this before I met Beck so I could’ve asked him about portraying this vile character.
