Viewing Notes

Saturday morning cartoon: picked the wrong Scooby-doo movie for a chilly November morning.

Has three strikes against it:

Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy mystery adventure instead of the whole gang. Just doesn’t work without the whole gang.

Brings in actual supernatural elements with the boo brothers and a host of other ghosts. When they do that then anything can happen and all the rules go out the window. Not good!

The Boo Brothers are an analogue for The Three Stooges, which I’m not a fan but they’ve also been featured in the Scooby universe so why have ghosts when you can just have the Stooges?

So yeah I chose the wrong Scooby movie today but it was available streaming (many are not) and it has a solid voice cast.
