This was either a pilot or the first in a series of movies that were never produced. Lays the foundation and establishes a storyline that is like a chapter one of a greater story.
I like treasure hunter movies and I was drawn to this because it stars Alexa Vega (REPO!). Didn’t realize this is already 12 years old!
It’s not bad but feels very tv with a decent budget. They shoot on location in Thailand. The teaser is set in Hong Kong. I wish they would’ve made more of these.
