8th movie in the Xmas Ruins The Trash Garage marathon. This was a nice surprise! When you throw a bunch of horror icons into a low budget flick usually it’s the pits. This one is pretty darn decent and uses most of the icons rather well. Esp. Tony Todd and Adrienne Barbeau. However, it’s Bruce Dern with a centerpiece scene that raises this up. Holy shit is he so good in a small role here.
Also, it’s my favorite kind of Christmas movie: the story just takes place at Christmas and it’s very obviously Christmas but no one talks about it being Christmas.
