Viewing Notes

Having read the brilliant His Dark Materials novel a couple years prior I really had high expectations for this movie. Unfortunately so much of what makes the book so great is missing from this film adaptation. It’s full of good individual moments but lacking otherwise. Sad we will never see the other books as films.
