This was my birthday movie in Albuquerque joined by my dad and my brother. Being a huge fan of the original film I was curious how Burton would adapt the novel with Depp as Wonka. I think it mostly works but was a little put off by the focus on Wonka rather than Charlie. Enjoyable and even my dad said he liked this version better. Blasphemy!
