Viewing Notes
Not surprising that I like this movie. Kinda love it in some parts. And this is despite not really liking the lead Ben Walker as Abe. Fortunately the supporting cast around picks up the slack (isn’t that true of all presidents?). Yes, absurd but the film plays it so straight I couldn’t help but have fun with it. Rufus Sewell and Dominic Cooper were highlights along with Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
