Viewing Notes
Removes much of the characterization from the book. Still a good film but I wish I had seen this movie before reading the much better novel by Haruki Murakami. There are moments in the film that mention certain aspects of a character that are never brought up previously which is weird. Would have liked to seen how this would have played without knowing the story and characters so well.
