My 11th film of FF2012, 3rd film on Day 3. And a film I had big expectations after reading about Makinov. Since I love the original film, Who Can Kill a Child, I expected to like this movie but I was wrong. One of my bigger disappointments of the Fest. A lot of the plot is nearly the same but the tension and characters are not as compelling or as interesting. The children don’t evoke the same kind of terror. I was mostly bored and fighting sleep. Maybe someday I’ll revisit.
