Viewing Notes

Third film in the annual horror movie marathon at the Music Box Theatre, renamed as the Music Box of Horrors this year for various behind the scenes drama and politics.

Really thrilled to see this on the big screen. One of my favorites and a Claude Rains tour de force.  He carries the entire film either in disguise and/or with his voice. Amazing performance. The comedy bits are a perfect counterbalance to the terror. Under-appreciated horror gem.
