Overview

Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest. But at age 78, life seems to have passed him by, until a twist of fate (and a persistent 8-year old Wilderness Explorer named Russell) gives him a new lease on life.

Got home from Seattle and SMX Advanced and went to a midnight showing of Up in 3D. UP was as great as all the reviews have already indicated but I’m still not sold on it being the best Pixar flick to date. I’m still very partial to The Incredibles. Does have probably the most tearjerking intro of any Pixar film to date.

This will probably go down as the most expensive theater viewing in my history of going to the theater. Upon exiting my garage I backed my car into another car severely denting my rear bumper (and yet no damage to the other car thankfully). I’m sure the cost of that will easily exceed $1000 to repair. ~sigh.
