Overview

On his latest expedition, Dr. Rick Marshall is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant and a redneck survivalist. In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka, their only ally in a world full of dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures.

Back to the theater today this time to catch the new release Land of the Lost. I gotta say that while I totally understand why this film was panned by the critics I really liked it. Then again I’m predisposed to like anything Land of the Lost. Definitely not a kids flick but I dug the dirty & drug humor. Hated the Cha-ka character but McBride made up for his shortcomings. Just wish there were more Sleestaks (and more McBride).
