Chris Nolan’s epic vision certainly begins in the best take we’ve seen yet. The movie takes the origin farther and deeper than any other has attempted and it’s all the better for it.
Nolan manages to give the story real substance and explore the human side and tell the story of the man and not just the hero or character, which all others have done. It suffers from a weak ending, but that doesn’t stop it from remaining a weighty, wonderful piece of cinema.
