Overview
For Lieutenant Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell and his friend and co-pilot Nick ‘Goose’ Bradshaw, being accepted into an elite training school for fighter pilots is a dream come true. But a tragedy, as well as personal demons, will threaten Pete’s dreams of becoming an ace pilot.

Viewing Notes
A total guilty pleasure, but it remains one of the cheesiest & fun movies going, with a great cast. It can be my wingman anytime. 24 years later, I don’t get Kelly McGillis; she just wasn’t attractive, even then.
Note: I reached this movie, #16 for the month, on September 16, which is also my mother’s birthday. Therefore, I’m God or something.
