Viewing Notes

First time watching this. I had a good time even though there wasn’t as much action as I thought there would be, and Godzilla seems to spend the last hour of the film frozen in place.

I wish I understood Japanese, because the dialogue is rapid fire and I’m sure I missed some of the subtitles. There’s a lot of humor, mostly poking fun at the comically absurb layers of bureaucracy that must be navigated (I think I’d like to see a dubbed version at some point).

I liked the visual effects and the film looks good overall.
